It is my conviction that music can do literally everything, from accessing the very highest spiritual realities to fomenting revolutions or making the crops grow well. (See also the article: Timbre and the Power of Sound.) My work makes an appeal to the rational mind through musical structure, the spirit through a process of association and to the body through the sense of rhythm. This work makes an integration of the Self which may go anywhere and do anything. This approach is akin to the spirit of pure research in science, along with the practice of mantra in yoga, and the adventure of exploration of the sense perceptions and thought processes in psychology. Of course, entertainment and humor are also present in every moment and can be discovered by the informed listener. Higher-level patterning is coded into the music in the aspect of time proportionality and musical gesture, these processes provide entry into the noumenal world of hyperspace. If I am successful in this, music, art, science, and philosophy will appear as a well integrated whole in every measure.
